Get in touch today to discuss your ceremony
You are unique and your ceremonies should be too.
As a celebrant, I would love to assist you to create a beautiful, personal and meaningful ceremony. Whether the ceremony is a wedding ceremony, a celebration of life (funeral), a commitment ceremony, a naming ceremony, or a renewal of vows; my role is to listen to your needs, guide and assist you with your planning, provide resources and conduct your unique ceremony in an engaging, sincere and professional way.
I am a member of The Celebrants Association of New Zealand - CANZ
As a celebrant I am…
Clear thinking and calm
Fun (when appropriate!)
I have been happily married to my husband Wayne for over 30 years and we have two adult children; our son Blake and our daughter Victoria, and two delightful (and sometimes naughty) little corgis called Charlie and George.
I have lived in Otago all of my life and currently live on a beautiful farm at Tuapeka West. During these years I have worked as a primary school teacher, a Special Education Adviser, a counsellor, and an English teacher.
It is because of my interaction with young people and adults from a wide variety backgrounds that I have developed an empathic and perceptive understanding of people. I have found my personal and professional experiences have taught me many valuable life lessons and skills that I bring to my role as a Celebrant. Being a Celebrant is a job where I feel very privileged to be able to share in the important, personal events in peoples' lives, and the role brings me an enormous sense of pleasure and satisfaction.
I am warm and friendly and have a great sense of humour. I appreciate good food and enjoy gardening, reading, walking and getting together with friends and family.
